How long is the rental?
One of our main goals here at Lilac & Lace Co. is to accommodate our couples as much as we possibly can. While other rental companies can have strict rental time frames, we recognize that this is a busy time for everyone involved and have set our rental times accordingly. For pick-up orders out of our warehouse, our rental pick-up times are Thursdays at 10:00AM OR 6 PM and drop-off is Monday at 10:00AM OR 6 PM. For delivery orders, the rental period is from the time of delivery until the end of the reception. Additional fees may apply for after-parties, late night pick-up, early delivery, or next-day pick-up.
Can I set up an appointment to see my items?
Although we would LOVE to meet all of our couples, our appointments are limited to those couples that will need delivery services.
Do you have a minimum rental amount?
For delivery, we require a $800 minimum order before any applicable delivery charges if your event is within 20 miles; if your venue is 21-30 miles away, we require a $900 rental order, and if your venue is 31+ miles away, a $1000 rental order is required. Off-season rental minimums vary.
What is the cost for delivery?
If you prefer not to pick up your items, we may be able to deliver. Our delivery ranges in price from $140+ each way within a 20 mile radius. After 20 miles, we will charge a $8/mile one time delivery fee. We prefer pick-up and delivery on the same day and, if on different days, we may tag on a extra charge. Holiday fees may also apply. For delivery and package pick-ups ending after 11:00PM, late night fees do apply.
Can I pick-up larger pieces so I don't need to be charged delivery?
Our couches/settees and larger furniture pieces (sweetheart tables, buffets, bars, vanities, tables, peacock chairs, etc.) are not eligible for pick-up. You may rent tabletop items, signage, mirrors, easels, small cake tables etc. and pick-up.
How do I reserve my pieces?
Once you have been given the quote and accept the invoice, your pieces will be reserved when the contract and the 50% deposit are received. The quote is only good for two weeks. Your pieces are not reserved until all of this has been returned to Lilac + Lace. The remaining 50% balance is due 2 weeks before the event date. If your invoice is not paid in full by the time of delivery, Lilac + Lace will not deliver your items until the balance is paid.
What if something happens to my rental items?
If the items are lost or come back damaged/broken so that we cannot repair or clean them, your credit card will be charged 3-5 times the cost of the rental fee for that item, per the signed contract agreement.
What happens if it rains or there is inclement weather?
In the event of rain or poor weather in the forecast, it is at the discretion of Lilac + Lace if the rentals will be permitted outside. If there is rain in the forecast, all rentals are required to be inside or under a covered area (tent, covered patio, etc.). Many of our inventory pieces are "one-of-a-kind" and cannot be replaced. This is due to the maintenance of our inventory, as well as ensuring that our couples get the most use out of their rentals on their wedding day. If items are moved outside following delivery without the permission of Lilac + Lace, a $500 fine plus any applicable damage fees will be applied.

All invoices will automatically contain a 6% cleaning and restock fee. Additional fees that may apply are: vinyl removal, holiday weekend fee, late night pick-up or extended rental period, and candle wax removal.
